Shooting guide
Four minutes of reading that save you credits. Better clips and better photos give better results on the first draft.

Pick the right clip
- 4 to 15 seconds, one main person in frame, MP4, MOV or WebM up to 300 MB.
- Keep the whole person visible most of the time; heavy cropping confuses the mask.
- Even light and a steady camera beat fast pans and dark rooms.
- Your original sound is kept exactly as recorded.

Choose reference photos
- Use 1 to 10 photos of the same character, sharp and well lit.
- Best with three: a front view, a three-quarter view with the head turned about 45 degrees, and a full-body shot in the outfit you want.
- Plain backgrounds help; group photos and heavy filters hurt.

Review the mask
- Before anything is charged, you see which pixels will be replaced, side by side with your clip.
- If the wrong person or object is selected, describe the subject better and use the one free repair.

Know the price before you render
- Each quality shows its price for your clip and the most we can hold, before you start.
- If a quality offers a higher-resolution finish, you watch the 720p result first and pay for the finish only if you want it.
- A render that fails is never charged, and finished videos stay downloadable for 45 days.

The rules that keep it fair
- Only footage you own and people who agreed to appear, including in your reference photos.
- No sexual content, no minors and no impersonation of real people. Uploads are screened automatically.
